KEEP PRESSING FORWARD

KEEP PRESSING FORWARD! (WHO IS THIS FOR TODAY?! WHO IS GOD SPEAKING TO???? MAY BE TOO LONG FOR SOME, BUT I PROMISE YOU IT'S WORTH READING! GLORY TO THE LORD!)

{Mark 5:25-29 AMP}- And there was a woman who had had a flow of blood for twelve years, 26And who had endured much suffering under [the hands of] many physicians and had spent all that she had, and was no better but instead grew worse. 27She had heard the reports concerning Jesus, and she came up behind Him in the throng and touched His garment, 28For she KEPT saying, If I only touch His garments, I shall be restored to health. 29And immediately her flow of blood was dried up at the source, and [suddenly] she felt in her body that she was healed of her [distressing] ailment.

{Philippians 3:14}- I PRESS TOWARD the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.

Let us look to the woman in today’s opening Scripture, who had the “issue of blood.” For 12 years, she walked around in pain and bleeding. She had been to numerous doctors (seeking man), and I’m sure trying out any and every thing out of desperation! I’m sure she listened to mostly anyone who suggested a ‘remedy,’ and gave it all a try! But one day she had an encounter with Jesus! She saw Him surrounded by a huge crowd, but yet she determined in her heart, that she was going to be healed that very day! So what did she do? She decided to push through the crowd until she got to Jesus! “If only I could just get close enough to touch the hem of His garment…..,” she kept saying. “I will be made well!”

~NOTE: SHE ‘KEPT SAYING‘… SHE ‘KEPT’ SPEAKING POSITIVELY……SHE ‘KEPT’ PUSHING/PRESSING THROUGH……*UNTIL* SHE GOT TO JESUS!

We can all relate to pain in one form or another! Whether it be physical, emotional or spiritual, we all have experienced it and will experience it again in life. That is just reality! Sometimes the pain will last but for only a ’night,’ and other times it may seem to last forever! It is in those times when the pain seems as if it’s never going to end; when we’ve prayed and prayed and done everything that we possibly know how to do- with no results in sight- that we tend to become frustrated and lose hope!

Most of us in those times, begin to grumble and complain. We begin to doubt that God ever hears our cries! We doubt all of the promises He’s made to us, and we wonder if we’ve even heard from Him in the first place! “Why God, why?” “When?” “How?” We ask many questions, oftentimes with no answers! And I don’t pretend to have all of the answers for you! But I would like to encourage somebody today: If GOD said it, so shall it be! No matter how long it seems to be taking, or what things look like here in the natural; we must remember that God does not operate on our timetable, but His own! He sees the end from the beginning and knows what’s best for us, and when we will be ready to receive the blessing without it destroying us in any way! All things have an appointed time (God is not limited by time) and so we must trust in Him as we patiently await the fulfillment of our blessings whether it takes minutes, hours, days, months or even years! REFUSE TO GIVE UP!

And sometimes, we may need to seek God again concerning a prayer. We must be sure that we are walking in obedience, and that there is no un-confessed sin in our lives (or anything/anyone); which can be hindering God’s working. We must be sure that we are in alignment with God’s will. A delay is not necessarily a denial and a denial doesn’t mean rejection! It may just be that God has something better in store for you! TRUST HIM, FOR FATHER KNOWS BEST!
