GOD SAID....

GOD SAID......

God said, "I will NEVER leave you nor forsake you...." (Hebrews 13:5) Why is it then that I feel so alone? Could it be because I constantly run to my friends and family instead of running to His Throne?


God said, "If the Lord is for us, who can be against us?" (Romans 8:31) Why is it then that I have fear? Might it be because I often times forget that my God is ever near? Living right inside of me-in my heart, you'll find Him there!

God said, "No weapon formed against you shall prosper" (Isaiah 54:17) Why is it then that when problems arise I flee? Could it be because I'm afraid of believing in that which I cannot see? Might it be because I often forget that the Greater One is in me?


God said, "Do not worry about anything...." (Matthew 6:25-34) So why then am I constantly so stressed out? Could it be because I'm only looking at the problems in the natural that are always seeming to mount? Might it be because His Word I often doubt?

God said,"Lay all of your cares and anxieties at My feet" (1 Peter 5:7) Why is it then that the load I carry seems to have me so darn beat? Might it be because I'm trying to walk alone down a dark and gloomy street? Tons of troubles on my back, many blisters on my feet? Afraid of every person that I meet? Could it be because I forgot I had to give Him my burdens, in order for me to take a seat?


God said, "It is FINISHED!" (John 19: 30) as He hung upon that cross... Right there my friends, He was showing Who was the Boss! Why then in my own strength and timing do I try to gain back all I've lost? Why is it that I, like a feather in the wind, to and fro' I'm constantly tossed? Could it be because I forget that my Savior has already done it ALL? There is nothing possible that I can do, Jesus has answered that call!


So I thank You JESUS, yes I thank You Lord for ALL You've done for me! For setting this sinner who was heading straight to hell, FREE! YEAH I have been SET FREE!!!! Thank You, Lord for giving me such authority! Now I can resist the devil and rest assured that he shall surely flee... So I speak to you now Satan, in the Name of JESUS, "Get thee behind me!" And I have to remember to always speak the words out loud that brings forth LIFE, yet death upon my enemy! So when he puts those negatives thoughts in my head....I shall remind him and myself of all that my GOD SAID!
