LOOKING FOR ANSWERS IN ALL THE WRONG PLACES
Psalm 20:7- Some trust in chariots and some in horses,
But we trust in the name of the LORD our God.
Romans 1:25- They exchanged the truth about God for a lie, and worshiped and served created things rather than the Creator—who is forever praised. Amen.
Leviticus 20:6- “‘I will set my face against anyone who turns to mediums and spiritists to prostitute themselves by following them, and I will cut them off from their people."
Deuteronomy 18:10-12- 10 Let no one be found among you who sacrifices their son or daughter in the fire, who practices divination or sorcery, interprets omens, engages in witchcraft, 11 or casts spells, or who is a medium or spiritist or who consults the dead. 12 Anyone who does these things is detestable to the LORD; because of these same detestable practices the LORD your God will drive out those nations before you.
1 John 4:1- Dear friends, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world.
Acts 19:17-19- When this became known to the Jews and Greeks living in Ephesus, they were all seized with fear, and the name of the Lord Jesus was held in high honor. 18 Many of those who believed now came and openly confessed what they had done. 19 A number who had practiced sorcery brought their scrolls together and burned them publicly. When they calculated the value of the scrolls, the total came to fifty thousand drachmas.
1 Samuel 15:23-" For rebellion is like the sin of divination,
And arrogance like the evil of idolatry.
Because you have rejected the word of the LORD,
He has rejected you as king.”
Revelation 16:14- They are demonic spirits that perform signs, and they go out to the kings of the whole world, to gather them for the battle on the great day of God Almighty.

Many are always LOOKING for answers to the FUTURE! They go to psychics, check horoscopes, seek after men & women of God for a word, etc. Now there is nothing wrong with asking questions, but when we NEED to know things so much, that we seek ANYTHING outside of GOD, something is wrong!
I'm not saying that God won't speak a Word to us through HIS PROPHETS, but TRUST HIM to get whatever message He needs you to have! He is NOT going to lead you to a psychic or to a daily horoscope! Why?! FAMILIAR SPIRITS operate through those means! That opens the door wide open to the enemy! And why listen to a FAMILIAR SPIRIT when you as a believer, have the HOLY SPIRIT living inside of you?! Who knows more than God anyway? Why waste time?!
Besides, you had better BE CAREFUL what you ask for or you just might get it! There is a REASON why we don't know everything! Imagine knowing the day you were going to die and how you were going to die?! You wouldn't be able to enjoy the time you DO have!
STOP worrying about TOMORROW! Tomorrow is not promised to anyone, and besides it has enough problems of its own! (Matthew 6:34) Stop looking back to the past, it's long gone, never to be relived again- except in your mind! FOCUS ON TODAY... RIGHT NOW, THIS MOMENT! The only thing you should be looking ahead to, is the Lord! Trust in Him alone to lead you into your future! Following any other path, will lead you down a path of destruction!
