IT'S ALL ABOUT JESUS....SO WHERE DID HE GO?!

And she brought forth her firstborn Son, and wrapped Him in swaddling cloths, and laid Him in a manger, because THERE WAS NO ROOM FOR THEM in the inn.
It's amazing how Christ gets taken out of CHRISTmas. It's supposed to be a celebration of the birth of our Saviour, Who came into this world to set us free; by dying a horrific death on the cross that paid the penalty for all of our sin: past, present and future. Yes, He was born to die for us! Yet amidst all of the hustle and bustle, He is too often forgotten!
THERE'S NO ROOM FOR JESUS!
Imagine you waking up each morning on the weeks leading up to your birthday, to witness those who claim to love you, running around, busy making plans, going shopping for wonderful gifts, decorating their homes, preparing food, etc. You think "WOW! Look at all of this they are doing for me!" You hear your name mentioned here and there, and how they are preparing for your birthday; but all the while, they are ignoring you!
Finally, the big day arrives, and you wake up so excited and ready for all of those lovely gifts, only to witness your family and friends exchanging them with one another! But still you think "This is wonderful!," because your greatest joy is in seeing others happy!
Now, dinner time rolls around! What a mighty feast! All the plates of food are being passed around, and everyone is busy stuffing their faces. Sure, they may say a quick, 'Happy Birthday' to you-or maybe not...but they are talking and laughing amongst each other, but still ignoring you!
The evening comes to an end, everyone is going home and soon will be off to bed! It was supposed to be your day... A celebration of the day you were born... BUT THERE WAS NO ROOM FOR YOU! How would you feel?
Let us remember that this is CHRISTmas- not SANTAmas, FOODmas, STRESSmas, DEBTmas, or GIFTmas! Yes, JESUS IS THE REASON FOR THE SEASON, but He's the REASON for ALL seasons... He's the reason for LIFE and ALL that we have! Let us not celebrate as the world does, but in holiness and in honor; giving all praises to the KING of KINGS and LORD OF LORDS! Let us focus on what this day that has been set aside for JESUS truly means... He has NOT left, it's us who has left Him! MAKE ROOM FOR THE GUEST OF HONOR!
