STOP PLAYING CHURCH!


Galatians 6:7 (Amplified Bible)


7Do not be deceived and deluded and misled; God will not allow Himself to be sneered at (scorned, disdained, or mocked [a]by mere pretensions or professions, or by His precepts being set aside.) [He inevitably deludes himself who attempts to delude God.] For whatever a man sows, that and [b]that only is what he will reap.

17For the time [has arrived] for judgment to begin with the household of God; and if it begins with us, what will [be] the end of those who do not respect or believe or obey the good news (the Gospel) of God?
18And if the righteous are barely saved, what will become of the godless and wicked?(A)



STOP PLAYING CHURCH! Stop pretending to be living in obedience to God. Stop pretending to truly LOVE God. Stop playing 'church' the way little children play 'house' or 'doctor!'

Now let me insert a comma: STOP PLAYING, CHURCH! Do you see the dual meaning?!!! Stop playing church. Stop playing, Church! The Lord is trying to get the Church's attention! STOP PLAYING! Stop playing with GOD! We have to wake up from our slumber and be about our Father's business!

There are too many people 'playing' with God! Too many people who are pretending to be something that they are not! Yes that's right! Too many have given themselves 'titles' pretending to be something they aren't called to be! Too many walking this walk following their own selfish desires. Too many trying to walk in someone else's calling! Sure, many are called, BUT only a FEW are chosen. (Matthew 22:14) Why is that?! Because only a FEW are willing to sacrifice it all, and follow GOD! Too many are busy worrying about how they LOOK to man! They are so impressed with their 'self-given titles' and so-called 'status', that they have long since forgotten that this walk isn't about THEM, but about the Lord! They have been INCREASING and causing Christ to DECREASE, when it's supposed to be the other way around! They have forgotten that they are supposed to be helping the people and leading them to God, not leading them to their four walled buildings so that they have the opportunity to show how 'great' THEY are! What is wrong people?!!! (Galatians 1:10)

See, too many lost souls, too many hurting and misguided, abused, accused, depressed, oppressed, defeated and worn out people, come to 'the church' looking for help but are turned away and turned off.. Yes they are put off... Criticized and ostracized by the VERY 'church' they came to for help!

Why? How? Because when they came to the 'church', they were looking for Jesus, but instead they found a bunch of wolves in sheep clothing! They came to a field which appeared to be 'ripe with wheat' but didn't notice the tares growing alongside them! Yes they were looking for JESUS but found LUCIFER!

These people witness the behavior and lifestyles of these 'church folk' and see many of them doing the same things- if not, worse- than what they themselves are trying to be set free from! (Galatians 5:19-23) STOP PLAYING CHURCH! STOP PLAYING, CHURCH! Too much hanging out at the clubs, drinking, smoking weed, cursing, lying, sleeping around, shacking up, etc., going on with IN the 'church!' Either we are for GOD, or we are for the DEVIL! There is NO in between! (Luke 11:23, 1 Corinthians 10:21)

I'm putting it all out there today.. Holy Spirit SPEAK!

Let me give you some more examples: Say an abused young woman comes to the church seeking comfort, seeking solace; looking for healing and a place to 'fit in'. Then the Pastor of this church,calling himself a man of God, begins counseling her and 'helping' her... Yet starts to take advantage of her, telling her that his wife won't sleep with him and so she should, as it would make GOD happy. And then once she does it, and his conscious begins to 'eat' at him, he discards her like yesterday's garbage! He begins to accuse her of seducing him... Of being used by the devil to distract him... Not taking any of the responsibility himself! What is that teaching this young woman about JESUS? Talk about misrepresentation!

I'm talking about these men (and women) of God, having affairs with members of their congregations... Stealing money from the congregation, using the very Word of God meant to set people FREE- against them and holding them in bondage instead! Telling them that if they don't tithe, or dress a certain way, look a certain way, behave a certain way, if they don't do this or that, they are going to hell?!! You are only going to hell if you don't truly accept JESUS as your Lord and Saviour! You are NOT saved by any works you could possibly do! If that were true, Jesus died on that cross in vain! Now I will go further and a bit off topic here and add that, TRUE faith will PRODUCE good works.. BUT you are NOT saved because of the works you do! JESUS DID IT ALL!



What about those teaching about the love and mercy of God, but leaving out the discipline and wrath of God? Yes those talking about heaven, but forgetting to teach the realities of hell?!!! We will not only be judged by the words we DO speak, but those we DO NOT speak, that NEED to be spoken as well! (Matthew 12: 36) We 'teachers' will be judged more harshly than anyone else so we had better be sure we are teaching what GOD wants us to teach... (James 3:1) What itching ears want to hear or not... Truth is truth and it is that truth that sets men free!

We have to stop preaching what we ourselves are not practicing! Stop talking the talk, if you aren't walking that talk! Get what I'm saying, my friends? We have to STOP talking about it, and start BEING about it! Sure we all have 'issues' and we can share our struggles with others and in turn be a blessing, but we have to be PRACTICING what we are teaching to be effective!

If I'm going to teach a message on forgiveness, how then can I NOT forgive that person who has hurt me? No I don't have to continue being best friends with the person (unless the Spirit says otherwise) but I DO have to forgive! How can I preach a message on adultery, when I'm sleeping with a man not my husband or with a married man?! Come on now! How can I expect the anointing on me to flow through to others, when I am so focused on ME and how I look to others?! How can I expect GOD to listen to me.. To bless me, when I am not listening to Him and following HIS rules?! How can YOU expect these same things?!! I don't know what God YOU worship, but MY God does NOT play! He cannot and WILL NOT be mocked! We have to STOP PLAYING CHURCH! You hear me?!! STOP PLAYING, CHURCH!

I could go on and on, but I think you got the point! No one knows the hour of the Lord's return, but I believe time is shorter than we think! It's time we WAKE UP and STOP compromising and dabbling in the works of the wicked! If you are calling yourself 'Christian,' your light should be shining so brightly before men that they need sunglasses on when you walk by! STOP worrying about what God is doing in someone else's life! STOP worrying about where He has called someone else to serve, or who He has called them to be! STOP following where He is leading someone else, and seek Him to find out where YOU belong and WHO you are called to be! We are all going to be held accountable for ourselves, and He's going to want to know why we didn't do what WE were supposed to do... STOP PLAYING CHURCH.... STOP PLAYING, CHURCH! We have to get it together- SOON! Be blessed!

12What [business] of mine is it and what right have I to judge outsiders? Is it not those inside [the church] upon whom you are to pass disciplinary judgment [passing censuring sentence on them as the facts require]?



13God alone sits in judgment on those who are outside. Drive out that wicked one from among you [expel him from your church].
