BE PREPARED!

It is true, that as CHRISTIANS our {FAITH & HOPE} should be in CHRIST ALONE. Knowing just who we are IN Him, we need NOT {WORRY OR FEAR} a thing! God will certainly PROVIDE all of our needs... {Matthew 6:25-33, Luke 12:22-31}

However, there is a big DIFFERENCE between {WORRY & PREPARATION!} While God doesn't want us to WORRY about the future or HOW He will provide, etc., that doesn't mean we are to just "SIT IDLY BY, hoping and waiting for things to just "DROP INTO OUR HANDS," or worst yet, IGNORE THE WARNINGS He sends, claiming we are "STANDING ON FAITH!"

Sure, God CAN cause things to "just happen," if He so CHOOSES, but usually WE HAVE TO ACT! {OBEDIENCE PRECEDES THE BLESSINGS!!!!} And FAITH WITHOUT WORKS IS DEAD/USELESS!!!

{Genesis 6:21, 41:1-36, Proverbs 6:6-11, 21:20, 27:12, Luke 22:36, James 2:14-26}

So just as the birds have to {TAKE ACTION & GO OUT & GATHER} what the Lord PROVIDES for food, and what they need to make their nests, so too must WE (most times), {TAKE SOME SORT OF ACTION!} We are to be DOERS......

The Lord also spoke to me:

{Amos 3:7}- Surely the Lord God does NOTHING, unless He REVEALS His secret to His servants the prophets. (emphasis added mines)

{WARNING PRECEDES DESTRUCTION}!!! And WHY WARN US unless God intended to PREPARE us? And why PREPARE us if there was NO ACTION needed on our parts, if only to BELIEVE? God's will, WILL be done NO MATTER WHAT we do or don't do; but He does {FOREWARN} His children of IMPENDING DESTRUCTION.

The Lord REVEALED to me and MANY others about a "GREAT SHAKING" that will take place upon this earth. This will NOT be the END, but the Lord will use it to {"WAKE/SHAKE PEOPLE UP" IN PREPARATION FOR THE END}, because He wishes that NO MAN PERISH (in hell)! {2 Peter 3:9, 1 Timothy 2:4} No, ALL {LIVES} won't be spared, but some will, and even more importantly {SOULS} will be saved; so wouldn't we as His CHILDREN, be WISE TO OBEY His warnings?! {Matthew 25:1-13} #DontBeCaughtWithoutYourOil!

"TOMORROW" isn't promised to ANY of us, and we ALL will eventually leave this EARTH, yet most of us still PREPARE FOR THE FUTURE whenever we go GROCERY SHOPPING for days, weeks and even months, right? Most of us have CLOTHES for work and school and other activities, that can last for no telling how long, right? We pay our WATER and other UTILITIES month by month so we can have electricity, water, gas, etc. for the following month- am I wrong? So if we can do those things and think it WISE, how much MORE wise would it be to STOCK UP/PREPARE FOR IMPENDING DESTRUCTION when the LORD sends forth warnings through His TRUE servants again and again?!

The Lord also brought this story to my mind:

A very religious man was once caught in rising floodwaters. He climbed onto the roof of his house and trusted God to rescue him. A neighbour came by in a canoe and said, “The waters will soon be above your house. Hop in and we’ll paddle to safety.”

“No thanks” replied the religious man. “I’ve prayed to God and I’m sure he will save me.”

A short time later the police came by in a boat. “The waters will soon be above your house. Hop in and we’ll take you to safety.”

“No thanks” replied the religious man. “I’ve prayed to God and I’m sure he will save me.”

A little time later a rescue services helicopter hovered overhead, let down a rope ladder and said. “The waters will soon be above your house. Climb the ladder and we’ll fly you to safety.”

“No thanks” replied the religious man. “I’ve prayed to God and I’m sure he will save me.”

All this time the floodwaters continued to rise, until soon they reached above the roof and the religious man drowned. When he arrived at heaven he demanded an audience with God. Ushered into God’s throne room he said, “Lord, why am I here in heaven? I prayed for you to save me, I trusted you to save me from that flood.”

“Yes you did my child” replied the Lord. “And I sent you a canoe, a boat and a helicopter. But you never got in.”

*FAITH, OBEDIENCE AND PREPARATION GO HAND IN HAND! He WARNS us (before destruction), to PREPARE us (during destruction), so that we might be SPARED (after destruction) because He LOVES us (always!) Selah.
