GIVE, PRAY AND FAST IN SECRET

{GIVE} IN SECRET,

{PRAY} IN SECRET,

{FAST} IN SECRET.

May your {MOTIVE} always be to PLEASE {GOD}!!!

Too many people feel the need to "ADVERTISE & PUBLICIZE" everything they do.... Especially when it comes to the "THINGS OF GOD!!!" It's even more disheartening when professing "LEADERS" IN THE BODY OF CHRIST do this to gain "ATTENTION TO SELF." They have to post/talk about all the "WONDERFUL/SPIRITUAL" things they are doing within their {MINISTRIES} "FOR THE PEOPLE," and how "HARD" they work "FOR THE LORD", etc.. This MAY be impressive for SOME people, but it's NOT impressive to the Lord when done out of {SELFISH MOTIVES}!

SOME will even post {PRAYERS} hiding behind the "GUISE OF THANKING GOD" for how GREAT HE IS, and for ALL HE'S DOING, but really their TRUE MOTIVES, is to "SHOW PEOPLE" how "GREAT" {THEY} *THINK* THEY ARE, due to ALL the "GODLY WORK" {THEY} are doing!

I've even seen people post about how "LONG & DIFFICULT" a {FAST} has been for them... And the SPIRIT revealed to me *IN SOME CASES,* that it was about "ATTENTION SEEKING" and "GLORIFYING SELF," because FASTING (like GIVING) should be A MATTER BETWEEN US AND THE LORD, (and when giving, this also includes the one we've given to).

{OH BELOVEDS LET US BE CAREFUL WITH ATTEMPTING TO STEAL THE LORD'S GLORY!!!! WE ARE NOTHING WITHOUT HIM!!! WE ARE ABLE TO DO NOTHING WITHOUT HIM!!! ALL THE GLORY BELONGS TO THE LORD!!!! IT'S ALL BECAUSE OF HIM, AND IT SHOULD ALL BE DONE FOR HIM!!!} Selah.

{Matthew 6:2-4}- Therefore, WHEN YOU DO A CHARITABLE DEED, DO NOT SOUND A TRUMPET BEFORE YOU AS THE HYPOCRITES DO in the synagogues and in the streets, THAT THEY MAY HAVE GLORY FROM MEN. Assuredly, I say to you, THEY HAVE THEIR REWARD. 3 But WHEN YOU DO A CHARITABLE DEED, DO NOT LET YOUR LEFT HAND KNOW WHAT YOUR RIGHT HAND IS DOING, 4 THAT YOUR CHARITABLE DEED MAY BE IN SECRET; AND YOUR FATHER WHO SEES IN SECRET WILL HIMSELF REWARD YOU OPENLY.

{Matthew 6:5-6}- “And WHEN YOU PRAY, YOU SHALL NOT BE LIKE THE HYPOCRITES. For they love to pray standing in the synagogues and on the corners of the streets, that they may be SEEN BY MEN. Assuredly, I say to you, THEY HAVE THEIR REWARD. 6 But you, WHEN YOU PRAY, GO INTO YOUR ROOM, AND WHEN YOU HAVE SHUT YOUR DOOR, PRAY TO YOUR FATHER WHO IS IN THE SECRET PLACE; AND YOUR FATHER WHO SEES IN SECRET WILL REWARD YOU OPENLY.

{Matthew 6:16-18}- 16 “Moreover, WHEN YOU FAST, DO NOT BE LIKE THE HYPOCRITES, WITH A SAD COUNTENANCE. For they disfigure their faces that they may appear to men to be fasting. Assuredly, I say to you, THEY HAVE THEIR REWARD. 17 But you, WHEN YOU FAST, ANOINT YOUR HEAD AND WASH YOUR FACE, 18 SO THAT YOU DO NOT APPEAR TO MEN TO BE FASTING, BUT TO YOUR FATHER WHO IS IN THE SECRET PLACE; AND YOUR FATHER WHO SEES IN SECRET WILL REWARD YOU OPENLY.
