#RealTalk: I have said MANY times that when a person says that their life is "TROUBLE FREE" (and even when my own is running super smoothly for a time), I get concerned! I draw even closer to the Lord and EXAMINE MYSELF to be sure I'm on the right path. Why? Because the enemy doesn't usually bother us when he has us RIGHT WHERE HE WANTS US! When we are of NO THREAT to him, he has NO REASON to make trouble for us. So we live life with a FALSE SENSE OF COMFORT/SECURITY....
It's so sad but true, that most people don't turn to God UNTIL a "STORM" hits. You see, it is usually in the DIFFICULT/STORMY "SEASONS" of life that we realize just how great our NEED for God truly is. When things are going great, many people barely even THINK about God, let alone spend time alone with Him. But when that "STORM" arrives, and those "WINDS ARE RAGING", and that "RAIN IS BEATING DOWN" upon us, and we realize that there is ONLY ONE Who can truly RESCUE us, ... "JESUS....JESUS.... JESUS" we scream!
But I have learned to not TURN TO GOD {when} trouble arises, but to STAY WITH HIM, even {before} the trouble comes. So that way, when it does come- (and it always WILL as long as we dwell in these earthly tents, and especially when we walk closely with the Lord,) I am ALREADY SHELTERED/PROTECTED from ALL harm and evil... Thank You Jesus!!!! Amen? Selah....
