This is me for sure...Yes! It's a huge difference between being UNDERSTANDING/LOVING/FORGIVING and being a FOOL! We should certainly give people CHANCES (depending upon the circumstances) as NONE of us are perfect. BUT there comes a time when we have to WAKE UP and realize that some people don't WANT to change and will only KEEP hurting us- IF given the chance! Yes, we are to FORGIVE those who have hurt us as MANY times as it takes; but FORGIVENESS DOES NOT NECESSARILY MEAN WE ARE TO REMAIN IN FELLOWSHIP/RELATIONSHIP with them! People can ONLY do what we ALLOW them to do. So some people, we have to LOVE FROM A FAR AWAY, SAFE & HEALTHY DISTANCE! When people show themselves to you- especially MORE THAN ONCE- beloveds, spare yourself the drama and BELIEVE and RELEASE them into the hands of God! Selah...
