Beloveds, while it IS indeed true, that "HATERS" do exist, and many of us certainly have them; we have to understand too, that {NOT EVERYONE} is "HATING" on us. There are some people who {GENUINELY DON'T/WON'T LIKE US} for various reasons; just as we don't/won't genuinely like some people for our various reasons. And just as we won't ALL "LIKE" each other, we certainly won't always "LIKE" EVERYTHING that anyone does!
With that being said, there are times when people who truly "LOVE" us, may see us engaged in something THEY don't like, hear us talking about something that THEY don't like, see us wearing something that THEY don't like, etc., and so they bring it to our attention. In those moments, when we feel that "STING OF OFFENSE," we are often quick to lash out, and accuse them of "HATING" ON US, when in essence, they were just being "HONEST" WITH US about how THEY feel. There's a huge difference!
So instead of allowing "OFFENSE" to take over, just remember that just as everyone has a "belly button," so to does EVERYONE HAVE OPINIONS. It doesn't necessarily make what THEY say "RIGHT." But they are ENTITLED to think/feel what THEY want, just as WE are.
And in those moments, when we KNOW that what's being said to us is TRUTH (especially when it comes to the things of God), instead of RESISTING & ALLOWING THAT SPIRIT OFFENSE TO TAKE OVER, we'd save ourselves a lot of UNNECESSARY stress, if we'd just ACCEPT it, so we can be SET FREE from whatever is keeping us in bondage (because that what living a LIE does) so we are able to RECEIVE the great things the Lord has in store for us! Selah...
