{{{BELOVEDS, WE MUST NEVER LOOK DOWN UPON ANYONE, UNLESS WE ARE REACHING DOWN TO LIFT THEM UP!}}} We have to learn to MEET PEOPLE WHERE THEY ARE, AND BRING THEM UP TO WHERE WE ARE (in Christ). Let us NOT FORGET that *we* have a PAST too! We weren't always where we ARE today! Amen?! My friends, we must learn to BE TRANSPARENT(as far as the Holy Spirit leads...DISCERNMENT IS VITAL) IN OUR WALK WITH THE LORD. If others see us as having it ALL together, they will feel INTIMIDATED opening up to us. But if they realize the truth; that WE TOO HAVE FLAWS AND WEAKNESSES (as we are still dwelling in these earthly tents, battling the flesh and the enemy); they will feel more COMFORTABLE sharing their issues with us! When we become so SUPERIOR to others that we lose our COMPASSION, LOVE and UNDERSTANDING- we can't EFFECTIVELY minister to them! We begin to CONDEMN them (leading them AWAY from Jesus); instead of WITNESSING to them (leading them TO Jesus). We must be careful! Remember that by THE SAME MEASURE *we* use to judge (condemn) others, that is the SAME measure *we* ourselves will be judged! Selah!
{Matthew 7:1-5}- “JUDGE NOT, THAT YOU BE NOT JUDGED. 2 FOR WITH WHAT JUDGMENT YOU JUDGE, YOU WILL BE JUDGED; and with the measure you use, it will be measured back to you. 3 And why do you look at the speck in your brother’s eye, but do not consider the plank in your own eye? 4 Or how can you say to your brother, ‘Let me remove the speck from your eye’; and look, a plank is in your own eye? 5 Hypocrite! First remove the plank from your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother’s eye.
