DON'T LET YOUR TROUBLES TROUBLE YOU



{James 1:2-4}- 2 Dear brothers and sisters, when troubles come your way, consider it an opportunity for great joy. 3 For you know that when your faith is tested, your endurance has a chance to grow. 4 So let it grow, for when your endurance is fully developed, you will be perfect and complete, needing nothing.



First note in today’s opening Scripture, it says “when” troubles come your way.TROUBLE IS INEVITABLE! Jesus Himself said, “In this world, you WILL have trouble.“ {Matthew 16:33} Trouble has been a part of life ever since the Fall and will be a part of this world until Jesus returns. No matter how much we may try to avoid it, it WILL come rearing its ugly head!



But it doesn’t end there! Jesus further says in this Scripture: “But take heart! I have overcome the world.” So you see, for those who have placed their trust in Christ, although we face difficulty (and often times more so than the unbeliever); we can rest assured that VICTORY IS OURS THROUGH JESUS CHRIST!



“No weapon formed against you shall prosper, And every tongue which rises against you in judgment You shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, And their righteousness is from Me,“ says the Lord. {Isaiah 54:17}



WE HAVE TO CHOOSE TO REFUSE TO ALLOW OUR TROUBLES TO TROUBLE US!



Instead we can TROUBLE THE DEVIL by standing firm, praising God, speaking positively, and rejoicing in the storm! Giving all glory to God and causing the enemy to flee!
