THE TRUTH HURTS

OH HOW THE TRUTH HURTS..... BUT WE HAVE GOT TO LEARN TO ACCEPT IT! My friends, it's so hard at times, to RECEIVE/ACCEPT CONSTRUCTIVE CRITICISM/CORRECTION! Now I am NOT at all saying that we should receive/accept ANY & EVERYTHING that EVERYONE says about us! NO WAY! But when we KNOW that what someone is saying has some TRUTH to it, and we have heard the SAME thing from MORE THAN ONE person, we should be WILLING to SEEK GOD, SEARCH OUR OWN HEARTS and make the NECESSARY ADJUSTMENTS!

We oftentimes FORGET, that aside from the BIBLE, one of God's PRIMARY ways of SPEAKING to us is THROUGH PEOPLE! Yes, WE (true believers) are CHRIST'S BODY here on earth! God has even ANOINTED and APPOINTED specific people in POSITION to BRING FORTH CORRECTION to us when needed! So BE CAREFUL beloveds, for when we REJECT THE TRUTH, we are REJECTING GOD! If we are NOT willing to LOOK AT OURSELVES, we will always remain INEFFECTIVE, IMMATURE CHRISTIANS- I don't care how OLD we are or how LONG we've walked with the Lord! So let us NEVER get to a place where we THINK we can do NO WRONG, & where we THINK we are SUPERIOR to others, or so HIGH & MIGHTY that NO ONE can teach us something! I have learned some GREAT LESSONS from small children, animals, nature, etc.! YES, THE TRUTH HURTS, BUT IT CAN SET US FREE, IF WE WILL JUST RECEIVE IT! REMEMBER: WE ARE NOT "THERE" YET! Selah!

{Proverbs 15:32}- He who DISDAINS INSTRUCTION despises his own soul, but he who HEEDS REBUKE gets understanding.

{Proverbs 15:5}- A FOOL despises his father’s instruction, but he who RECEIVES CORRECTION is prudent.

{2 Corinthians 13:5}- EXAMINE YOURSELVES as to whether you are in the faith. TEST YOURSELVES. Do you not know yourselves, that Jesus Christ is in you?—unless indeed you are disqualified.

{Hebrews 12:6-9}- FOR WHOM THE LORD LOVES HE CHASTENS, AND SCOURGES EVERY SON WHOM HE RECEIVES.” 7 IF YOU ENDURE CHASTENING, God deals with you as with sons; for what son is there whom a father does not chasten? 8 But IF YOU ARE WITHOUT CHASTENING, of which all have become partakers, then you are ILLEGITIMATE and NOT SONS. 9 Furthermore, we have had human fathers who corrected us, and we paid them respect. Shall we not much more readily be in subjection to the Father of spirits and live?

{1 Corinthians 10:12}- Therefore let him who THINKS he stands TAKE HEED lest he FALL.
