TIME TO GROW UP

My friends, the TRUE man/woman of God will NOT always teach what you WANT to hear, but what you NEED to hear! They are NOT always going to have a WORD OF EXHORTATION/ENCOURAGEMENT; but sometimes they may have to bring forth a WORD OF ADMONISHMENT/CORRECTION. Every message isn't going to "BABY" you! Oh beloveds, some of the messages are meant to GROW YOU UP! You see, when it is the HOLY SPIRIT OF GOD Who gives the TRUE man/woman of God a Word (OR WHOEVER OR WHATEVER IT IS HE MAY CHOOSE TO WORK THROUGH), the motivating factor is always LOVE! Just like a parent who TRULY LOVES their child, will not only TEACH & ENCOURAGE their child to do the RIGHT thing in WHATEVER they do in life; but they will also CORRECT & DISCIPLINE them when they are doing the WRONG thing in WHATEVER it is they are doing in life! How much MORE SO, our Heavenly Father in the lives of those who TRULY belong to Him! We have to be WILLING to LOOK AT OURSELVES & ALLOW GOD TO CHANGE US IN EVERY AREA WHERE CHANGE IS NEEDED OR WE'LL NEVER FULLY GROW UP!

SO let me say this: If you hear a message from the TRUE man/woman of God (OR WHATEVER SOURCE HE MAY SPEAK THROUGH) that 'STIRS YOUR SPIRIT' or causes you to feel UPSET in ANY way; CHECK YOURSELF! TEST THE SPIRIT BY THE SPIRIT to see whether or not the message is TRUE and if God may be speaking to YOU! Might there be SOMETHING in that message, that YOU need to change? Don't be so quick to SPEAK AGAINST that what you don't clearly UNDERSTAND, or that which is UNCOMFORTABLE/PAINFUL to the flesh! In so doing, MANY have actually SPOKEN AGAINST GOD to their own destruction! Selah!

{1 John 4:1}- Beloved, DO NOT BELIEVE EVERY SPIRIT, but TEST the spirits, whether they are of God; because many false prophets have gone out into the world.

{2 Timothy 4:3-4}- For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine, but according to their own desires, because THEY HAVE ITCIHNG EARS, they will heap up for themselves teachers; 4 and THEY WILL TURN THEIR EARS AWAY FROM THE TRUTH, and be turned aside to fables.

{2 Timothy 3:16-17}- ALL Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for DOCTRINE, of REPROOF, for CORRECTION, for INSTRUCTION IN RIGHTEOUSNESS,17 that the man of God may be COMPLETE, THOROUGHLY EQUIPPED for EVERY good work.
