OH WHAT POWER OUR WORDS POSSESS; with the SAME mouth, we CURSE and BLESS! Far too MANY times we put GOD to the TEST. We should be LIFTING OTHERS UP instead of "LAYING THEM TO REST!" (cursing them out) Stop using the excuse, "I HAD TO GET 'THAT' OFF MY CHEST," to TEAR OTHERS DOWN & cause them UNDUE STRESS! Don't become the very thing that you DETEST; SPEAK LIFE into those around you-help OTHERS become their BEST!
When I was younger, we had this saying: "I'M RUBBER AND YOU'RE GLUE, *WHATEVER* YOU SAY, BOUNCES OFF OF ME AND RIGHT BACK ON TO YOU!" Well my friends, I never realized just how TRUE those words are! WE REAP WHAT WE SOW! That goes for the GOOD and the BAD! We had better start PAYING MORE ATTENTION to, and being MORE CAREFUL about what we ALLOW to proceed from our mouths! Selah!
{Proverbs 18:21}- 21 Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it will eat its fruit.
{James 3:8-10}- But no man can tame the tongue. It is an unruly evil, full of deadly poison. With it we bless our God and Father, and with it we curse men, who have been made in the similitude of God. Out of the same mouth proceed blessing and cursing. My brethren, these things ought not to be so.
{Hebrews 3:13}- but exhort one another daily, while it is called “Today,” lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin.
