THE PLACE OF “NO MORE”
Revelation 21:1-4
1 Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the old heaven and the old earth had disappeared. And the sea was also gone.
2 And I saw the holy city, the new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven like a bride beautifully dressed for her husband.
3 I heard a loud shout from the throne, saying, “Look, God’s home is now among his people! He will live with them, and they will be his people. God himself will be with them.

2 And I saw the holy city, the new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven like a bride beautifully dressed for her husband.
3 I heard a loud shout from the throne, saying, “Look, God’s home is now among his people! He will live with them, and they will be his people. God himself will be with them.
4 He will wipe every tear from their eyes, and there will be no more death or sorrow or crying or pain. All these things are gone forever.”
In life, we go through so many ups and downs! During the ‘down’ times, we may see no way out of our present circumstances. We may feel hopeless and lost; scared and lonely; depressed and discouraged.
But rest assured, bad times don’t last always! There is always sunshine after the rain, pleasure after the pain! Weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning! (Psalm 30:5)
And even in the midst of our ‘suffering,’ we can take heart, knowing that life on earth is only temporary! Jesus died so that we might live forever with Him in Heaven! No, this life is not all there is! Eternity awaits us all! However, it’s up to each individual just where they will spend eternity. There are only 2 paths each of us can take; either the narrow path- which leads to the Lord in Heaven, or the broad path which leads to Satan in Hell! (Matthew 7:13-20)
For the believer entering the gates of Heaven, there will be no more pain, no more sorrow, no more tears! There will be no more pain or suffering. There will be no more fear, rejection, abandonment or failure! There will be no more lack, want or need. No more hunger, debt, worry, etc. GLORY TO GOD! We will experience life in all its goodness, in all it’s fullness! Life the way that God intended it to be before the Fall!
But for the unbeliever, there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth; and a horrific eternity separated from God! (Matthew 13:42, 25:41)
Please, if you haven’t done so, get on the road that leads to life; the road that leads to the place of NO MORE, and walk out the rest of your earthly life in peace no matter what may come your way!
