MANY ARE CALLED, BUT ONLY A FEW ARE CHOSEN

 Matthew 22:14 (Read 22:1-14 for full understanding)- For many are called, but few are chosen.”

Many are called, but only a FEW are chosen! Why is that?! Because only a FEW are willing to sacrifice what it takes (living a lifestyle of holiness) to follow God! But even still, many of the 'un-chosen ones' have stepped up to the plate under man's authority, and are infiltrating the pulpits all across the world! These 'un-chosen ones' are 'leaders' all right; leading people straight to hell! They are teaching the doctrines of men, but turning a blind eye, a deaf ear, and a mute mouth to growing sin in their own families and congregations; all for the sake of NUMBERS! Yes, they are more concerned about the size of their congregations, than winning souls for God!

And many are even teaching that sexual immorality, drunkenness, drugs, gambling, homosexuality, lying, cheating, stealing, and the like; are ok! They cheapen God's grace by teaching that through our FREEDOM IN CHRIST, we can live just like the unbelievers, yet still be saved! WHAT?!!! Let's take a look at what the Word of God tells us:

2 Corinthians 6:17 (New Living Translation)

17 Therefore, come out from among unbelievers, And separate yourselves from them, says the Lord. Don’t touch their filthy things, and I will welcome you.

We (BELIEVERS) are to be SALT and LIGHT in a dark and unbelieving world:

Matthew 5:13-16 (New Living Translation)

13 “You are the salt of the earth. But what good is salt if it has lost its flavor? Can you make it salty again? It will be thrown out and trampled underfoot as worthless.

14 “You are the light of the world—like a city on a hilltop that cannot be hidden.

15 No one lights a lamp and then puts it under a basket. Instead, a lamp is placed on a stand, where it gives light to everyone in the house.

16 In the same way, let your good deeds shine out for all to see, so that everyone will praise your heavenly Father.

We are called a PECULIAR people:

1 Peter 2:9 (New Living Translation, read vs.1-9)

9 But you are not like that, for you are a chosen people. You are royal priests, a holy nation, God’s very own possession. As a result, you can show others the goodness of God, for he called you out of the darkness into his wonderful light.

We are to follow the Spirit and NOT the dictates of the flesh:

Romans 8:7-9 (New Living Translation, read chapter 8:1-15)

7 For the sinful nature is always hostile to God. It never did obey God’s laws, and it never will.

8 That’s why those who are still under the control of their sinful nature can never please God.

9 But you are not controlled by your sinful nature. You are controlled by the Spirit if you have the Spirit of God living in you. (And remember that those who do not have the Spirit of Christ living in them do not belong to him at all.)

TIME TO WAKE UP PEOPLE!!!!!! GOD IS NOT GOING TO TOLERATE YOUR SIN FOR MUCH LONGER!!!!!!!!!!

Matthew 7:21-23 (New Living Translation)

21 “Not everyone who calls out to me, ‘Lord! Lord!’ will enter the Kingdom of Heaven. Only those who actually DO the will of my Father in heaven will enter.

22 On judgment day many will say to me, ‘Lord! Lord! We prophesied in your name and cast out demons in your name and performed many miracles in your name.’

23 But I will reply, ‘I never knew you. Get away from me, you who break God’s laws.’

 ~Many of these were CALLED, but not CHOSEN! They were using the power in the NAME, and CONFESSING Jesus with their lips, but their hearts were far from Him!

Matthew 15:8 (New Living Translation)

8 ‘These people honor me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me.

STOP THINKING YOU CAN FOOL GOD!!!!!!

Galatians 6:7 (New King James Version)- Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap.

James 3:1 (New Living Translation)- Dear brothers and sisters, not many of you should become teachers in the church, for we who teach will be judged more strictly.

And if you are CALLED, you had better make sure you have been CHOSEN, and if you have been chosen, you better make sure that you are teaching GOD's TRUTH in accordance to His will!
